Wuthering Heights is such a well respected classic so it was intriguing to receive a retelling of it and perhaps a little unnerving.
Essie Fox has an excellent reputation for the gothic novel and this retelling certainly doesn’t disappoint.
We have met the characters before and after reading Catherine I feel the need to reread Wuthering Heights and go see the new film coming out next week.
Catherine and Heathcliff deserve to be happy together but it seems somethings just aren’t possible.
But do we know the full story?
What would Catherine say about events?
What stories would you tell if you came back as a ghost?
