Having read The Tattooist of Auschwitz a couple of years ago I knew I had to read this, but I had to build myself up to it first…
So although I own a signed hardback bought early after publication I have only just read it today.
My verdict: Heart breaking and shocking but what a story!
If this novel doesn’t prompt you to read more about what happened in gulags then I am shocked.
Highly recommended.
