Well it is rare that my husband raves at me about a book… but on this occasion it is all credit to him that I dragged this book out of my towering to be read piles.
He had heard Stig talking to Chris Evans on his radio programme yesterday and thought it sounded rather good so on that basis I picked it as my next read.
Well I am pleased to report that I really enjoyed it & have ordered a few copies to gift to others too.
Good pace, good plotting, loved the characters so super delighted that this is the start of a series. I didn’t guess it so that’s always good news.
Loved the setting of the book and the getting a feel for who the main characters could be going forward in this small village.
Also very pleased to report that I will be starting book 2 tonight – Death In A Lonely Place!
Very happy to recommend on to crime fans.
