Thank you to Graham for organising a review copy ahead of his interrogation in Waterstones Durham on Sat 16 March 2024, I urge you to come along and meet him.
I had previously read and loved Bad for Good some time ago, so obviously I expected his second book to be even better – it was.
So this is book 2 in the Jo Howe series. Jo is a brilliant character so for her alone I am invested.
The plotting is superb, the TENSION is top class, there was no way I wasn’t finishing this book when I went to bed last night – I simply couldn’t be expected to put it down.
If you are a crime thriller fan and you have not yet bought / read these beauties then wriggle along you certainly won’t regret it.
My expectations for book 3 – City on Fire (Out in March 2024) have now gone up a notch or two after Force of Hate.
This series has become an automatic buy for me, my towering to be read piles are going to continue to groan…
The plot is current and very much things that are being actively discussed up and down the country.
Absolutely recommended.
