This story pulls you right in, it grabs your heart, plays with your emotions – simply captivating. Beautifully written debut.
The novel spans many decades but your feel like you’ve taken each step the family has taken. The characters are so wonderful and you feel as if you know them. It is truly heart breaking in places. But also there are triumphs along the way.
I just didn’t want to put this down when I started reading.
