The writing in this is superb, I genuinely felt like I was right there in Trinidad in the 1940’s!
Loved the characters, at times they might warm your heart and other times they will break your heart.
Most certainly an intense read which will draw you in until the very last page.
I will be very surprised if this isn’t raved about and perhaps selected for some prizes this year.
