This is certainly an accomplished debut, full of tenderness and love. I will happily recommend this on to all.
As the family navigate their life in America and the boys are taken to Iran by their father there are heart breaking moments but overall this is a story of love, family love, tenderness and determination. A book I think people will want to read time and time again.
I will happily read whatever Khashayar writes next.
This book I feel would appeal to fans of Caleb Azumah Nelson – ‘Open Water’ and ‘Small Worlds’ author.
