So this is the Waterstones non fiction book for January 2022… absolutely fascinating.
A read everyone could happily pick up and be interested in. A lesson in history in part, but also an environmental lesson.
What have we done to the land? Then we abandon it… then nature reclaims it.
Perhaps the most famous area explored in this book was Chernobyl but that is only a small part of the book, there is so much more to learn and discover, this book could be enjoyed by many members of the family. Something for everyone to learn and consider.
Very happy to recommend on to others, totally fascinating! (Although I would have quite liked a few more photographs.)
