Given that we are currently in lockdown 3 due to covid-19 pandemic I wasn’t sure if this book would be a wise reading choice, but I had heard only great reviews so I just had to give it a go. So it turned out to be rather addictive. There were times when I thought, what would I do? Oh, I wouldn’t do that, but might I actually? I could certainly do that, but then again, would I actually? Who knows if you were asked to imagine being the last one left what would you imagine it would be like? What would you imagine you would do? What would become important to you? I think it’s a great read for a book group, as it will certainly cause some discussions.
Very happy to see What Bethany writes next.
