Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy, I loved her debut ‘His Only Wife’ so much I was a little afraid to read this because I had such high expectations for it. I kept it in the mountainous to be read pile for a while wondering when I would be able to sit back and just relax with it…

So having finished it this morning I need to share my thoughts… obviously loved it!
A story of friendship, of family, of life in Ghana, of life in America. It looks at life’s highs and lows, it’s differences depending on who you are and perhaps who your friends and family are. It looks at how men treat women, how can this be challenged, is there anything that can be done? It looks at people of power and the abuse of power.

It will certainly get under your skin as you follow the lives of Selasi and Akorfa.

Very happy to recommend both Nightbloom and His Only Wife by Peace Adzo Medie.
