Purchased to read as it was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for fiction 2021.
I had heard that it was a ‘marmite’ choice…
I had been told it was a book of two halves… the first being in some people’s opinion bizzare.
So my verdict: addictive, unique, heart breaking.
But yes, I would read her next novel because she has caught my interest.
