Waterstones Children’s Book of the Year 2022!

Before reading this book I had heard nothing but excellent reviews from other booksellers, authors, children etc etc

So I had to find out for myself… and I conclude this is a very worthy winner of the Waterstones Children’s Book of the Year 2022.
I can now understand the rave reviews. Great characters, lots of action, a touch of danger, friendships and I can certainly see why many are comparing it to the Harry Potter books!

So if you haven’t already grabbed yourself a copy I strongly urge you to do that and if you have already read it – don’t forget to pre order book 2 – Skandar and the Phantom Rider!
