So I have managed to dive in at book 7!
I’ll be entirely honest, I imagine it would have scored the full 5 stars if I had read the first 6 already… but as I haven’t I felt I was missing out on some of the back story.
It does read perfectly well in isolation so if you also happen to randomly start here too then don’t be alarmed.
The writing is excellent, the humour is fabulous, so just relax and enjoy meeting some of these ‘slow horses’.
It has however, hooked me in so I’m going to have start soon with Slow Horses and see where the story started.
Very happy to recommend Mick Herron’s writing on to others though.
I can now easily see why he has should a following of avid readers.
