Thank you to the publishers for this review copy, at first glance I wasn’t sure it was something I would normally pick up to read and I admit I read the first 15/20 pages about three times before I managed to get hooked in – but then I flew through in one sitting. So no idea what was going wrong for me at first.
The writing is excellent, good characters and an interesting story. Would be very keen to see what Celia writes next.
A good debut.
