Thank you to the publishers for this review copy of The Half Burnt House. I have not previously read Alex North’s novels so this was an absolute delight.
The Half Burnt House is expertly plotted, tense, perfectly paced and a book I was very happy to devour. Of course we all know that now I am going to have to check out his previous books and hence my tbr piles will groan again. But if like me you have also not read him before then I can absolutely recommend The Half Burnt House. All the time you will be wondering just who knows what, who can actually be trusted – loved it!
