So I picked this book up to read once I realised it was the Waterstones book of the month for children – May 2023. This is a great debut from Zohra and upon finishing it my burning question was how long will I have to wait for book 2? Firstly, the cover design is exquisite, absolutely love it! This is sure to attract a few readers, it clearly indicates magic and adventure. This book certainly delivers on magic, adventure and of course just a sprinkling of danger to ensure those pages keep on turning long after the lights should have been turned out!
Very happy to recommend on to all readers age 7+.
