Thank you to the publishers and Mike for this early review copy, just love the Tilly series so obviously it was picked up straight away to read (sorry to the book I was midway through).
As I tell everyone in person Tilly in my opinion is the best character in crime fiction!
So I was delighted that she featured heavily in this latest instalment – if you haven’t read any of Mike’s books before I’d suggest you start with The Puppet Show.
This book had my head in a spin as I was reading, I had so many theories of what was happening and what had happened… Some things I kind of guessed other things I would NEVER have guessed – so well done Mike. Very cleverly weaved together! Great pacing and obviously love his writing style.
This book is dark, gripping and entirely BRILLIANT!
So if you’ve never read his books before – get a wriggle on and if you are up to date I urge you to pre order this now!
