Thank you to the publishers for this review copy. When the book arrived a couple of days ago I had never heard of Paul Cleave before, but he had many excellent reviews from big names in the crime writing circle… so I thought well I’ll just read the first chapter and see what it’s like…
Yes, you’ve seen me make this mistake before – the poor to be read towers were neglected again while I had to race through to the last page!
Really intriguing plot, yes I partially guessed it – but there was no way I had entirely guessed it, loved the characters. Excellent tension, I’d be very happy to recommend this book on to other crime fans. Please note if you get hooked into this book he appears to have written in excess of 10 previous crime novels too!
As for crime writers, maybe we should have you all leave your finger prints and DNA at your nearest police station today – just in case?
