The sad news regarding Cormac McCarthy this week triggered a search through my to be read piles for this. I confess to having never read him before, this clearly is my mistake.
The Road is magnificent in every way and assuming I’m not the only person to have never read it – then I will be recommending this to many many people.
Beautiful, tense and so full of loved, absolutely recommended. I shall obviously have to buy another of his books soon.
