Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy, I have read and enjoyed Doug’s books previously but they were definitely not the same style as this one.
This is most definitely Doug stepping or should we say leaping into a new genre. However, on the basis of his previous books I was prepared to at least give this new book a go.
I found I was quite literally sucked into the book, unique story telling and highly addictive – which is quite a surprise because from the blurb it is something I would never have picked up in a book shop. Loved the characters, enjoyed the plot and the pace. I suspect a follow up book might occur… and I would be very happy to give that one a read too.
Bizarre, addictive, unique – recommended.
