I am quite the fan of Dan’s novels for both children (and adults – now please note adults will enjoy his children’s novels but he also has about 5 adult novels published too).
This latest book ‘The Terror of Hilltop House’ is very possibly the best so far in the crooked oak series and is perfect for 9 years onwards… great tension and danger in these ones!
Exactly what is happening at Hilltop House? Is there only one way to find out? Hide under the duvet as you read!
