Firstly, thanks to the lovely Alison from Transworld for my very early review copy which I patiently parked to one side until I could devour it in peace.
That peaceful day / night arrived yesterday as once you start it you will not want to be putting it down. This book is set during WWII and afterwards, it really paints the era so well!
Now you know how it goes I’ve read Kate before but admittedly not all her books and having been bowled over by this one I know I am going to have to plug the gaps in my collection.
The book is an absolute delight and I can’t wait to recommend to everyone in September when it is officially published.
I am also a little excited to meet her in September in Waterstones Durham!!
