This book has been on my wish list since it was published in hardback, I was lucky enough to get a copy for my birthday a couple of weeks ago, so I started this yesterday with high expectations.
My verdict: Brilliant!
This is a heart breaking story inspired by a true story starting in Vienna in 1936 it follows the lives of three friends Elsa, Leo and Max. You may need tissues as you read but you will truly want the best for these fabulous characters.
This should be read by all! Completely recommended.
