Thank you to the publishers for this review copy.
I was very intrigued when I heard about this book and then saw that it was booker longlist for 2020, this then became a book that I absolutely must read.
The first few chapters reminded me of You Don’t Know Me by Imran Mahmood – which I absolutely loved. (I’d love people to read both books and for the authors to read each others books)
By the time I had reached page 100 after a couple of short reading sessions squeezed in around work I was addicted and I just had to finish it last night – which does explain why I’ve had about 6 hours sleep only.
I would love to see this go through to the booker short list it is a very different read – but variety is the spice of life so give it a try!
