Claire Lynch is clearly a great author that I now will be hoping for many future books from.
This is a quiet book, it gently ticks along in some ways but so powerful.
We have a family break up, we have a father daughter loving relationship and a missing mum.
In the last few years many things have changed and it’s easy to forget that only a few decades ago things were very different for some people. This book reminds us of life back in the 1980’s. It reminds us of public opinions, of government opinions.
This book is full of love but it will also break your heart.
Certainly recommended.
