As this is the 25th years of the women’s prize for fiction I am trying to read some of the previous winners… so far I have read An American Marriage, The Power and Property – all excellent.
I had always heard great things about this book but I had just never purchased it.
This perhaps to some might be a little shocking but it is fantastic and I would definitely want to recommend this on to others.
You really feel for the characters as you read each page, heart breaking.
