Another book that hadn’t hit my radar until it was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction 2026.
Verdict: LOVED IT! I would be delighted to see this shortlisted in April.
Adored the characters.
Loved the writing style and plotting.
Obviously I must now check out her previous book – A Burning.
Absolutely recommended!
