This one has sat in my pile to read for a quite a long time, but it was recently longlisted for the Theakston Crime award 2026 so I dug it out.
Overall it was a interesting plot and a good idea for a book but sadly for me it didn’t really grab me enough.
I think it will be enjoyed more by readers who are bigger fans of cosy crime.
