Pleased to report that this is a good debut and if their next book had been sat in my towering to be read piles I would simply have read it next.
A Young girl travels because she can’t stay in one place, she is poorly and she travels well into old age – can you imagine this?
She becomes well known but can she simply be covering the miles ‘on foot’?
Or has she uncovered short cuts?
I thought the writing was lovely and I was very happy to be swept along with it, always with just enough wonder about how it was possible and why it had to be that way?
Very happy to recommend.
