Well I had bought this book for my husband to read on holiday, obviously I am such a kind wife.
However, he hadn’t reached this in his holiday pile when I had ran out of books to read so I pinched it back.
It’s fair to say I was more than delighted with my gift to him, this book was brilliant!
So brilliant that I immediately went on to Waterstones website to reserve the second book to buy on return home but NO NO NO – Paul thinks it’s ok to make me wait until January 2027 for book 2 – Funeral for a Spy! I’m useless at waiting patiently sadly.
Adored the characters, loved the pace, totally addictive!!
Completely recommended and have I mentioned I do now want to wait until January for book 2.
