Given that I am a fan of David’s previous books this obviously went straight to the top of the pile on arrival.
The characters in this book are brilliant, I don’t think I have ever read a bunch of characters anything like these.
There is murder to solve, there is danger aboard the ship but there is also lots of laughs along the way.
Is this the book for everyone on a cruise this year? Or perhaps for everyone on holiday who did not arrive by sea?
This maybe a standalone from David but I feel this could also be the start of a new series if we are lucky… let’s see what happens.
Publishing in July 2026 – so obviously you will need to pre order.
If you haven’t read David’s books before then start with either Sleeper or The Art of Death – you will not be disappointed.
