Booker Longlisted 2023

Thank you to the publishers for this review copy. This book was not on my radar before it was longlisted for the booker, I had no idea about it at all.
The book is an exceptional read which I now urge everyone to read.
Sunday is an excellent character, fantastically constructed, absolutely loveable.
We look at the interactions that she has with her daughter, family, work colleagues, neighbours.
I found the read to be very tense, I was dreading a certain possible outcome, I truly felt for Sunday.
Absolutely recommended and I would love to see this reach the Booker Shortlist!
A very accomplished debut!
