I have never read Richard Powers before even though The Overstory has been repeatedly recommended to me, clearly something I should now correct.
This book is longlisted for the Booker 2021, it is utterly magnificent and absolutely must get shortlisted! Now I have only read 5 of the 13 longlisted titles so far but this is definitely a winning book for me, so I strongly urge you to pre order and enjoy.
No spoilers from me but this book made me appreciate life, it had me smiling frequently and on occasion even laughing.
It is quite simply one of the best novels I have ever read it completely knocked all other plans out of the window yesterday until I had turned the last page.
