An excellent thriller, this slowly builds up the picture of what happened in 1995 and the haunting planting of flowers since. The tension keeps rising as you uncover what occurred to the girls. Running along side this you have the death penalty looming over a suspect, is this the right suspect?

I was really looking forward to this book after hearing about it on the Radio 2 book club. Sadly, I found the book a little disappointing. A few good patches but it just did not hold my attention. The pace was far too slow.
