Once again I had not heard of this book until it was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for fiction.
I do love how prize lists etc uncover brilliant books that we might have otherwise not picked up.
This is a really accomplished book which I think is a must for the shortlist.
It is full of life, emotion, worry, love and sadly war.
It might just break your heart, but I hope it would make you also consider what you might do in such circumstances.
Definitely a recommended read.
