So ok I’ve only just read this superb book because it was listed as a read on the Between The Covers series 6 – even though yes everyone had sung it’s praises to me for years.
This I believe was Hannah’s debut and it is fantastic. Based on a true story. This captures beautifully the time and place. The characters are so well constructed. The plotting is brilliant and I just didn’t want to put it down!
Absolutely recommended to anyone like me who is late to this particular party!
