Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy.
I must first say that I absolutely love the cover of the proof copy I have just read.
The storyline is set across two timelines, both of which were equally greatly appealing and addictive.
It looks at the time of Shakespeare and explores if woman could write plays / poetry and have them published or performed under their own names.
Also looking at modern day play writing, has much changed? Do we have many successful woman play writes? Or do women now still considering submitting work without declaring their gender? How far would you go to get your work performed or published? Does your gender, colour or anything else make a difference, or is it just down to the quality of your work?
Both storylines will enrage you and tug on your heart strings there was no point while I was reading did I want to put this book down!
Loved the characters so much and not just the two main characters. I found so many things I loved about other characters too, especially and surprisingly Jasper also.
Absolutely recommended – so I would suggest you pre order now.
