The City of Stolen Magic is a good debut for age 9 years plus readers, I would certainly like to see this turn into a series.
It captures the time and atmosphere of the place very well, certainly pulling from historical events.
Totally loved the characters!
The plot line obviously contains a great deal of magic, but also danger, trickery, travel and family dilemmas. Who can be trusted? Will they ever be safe to be who they are?
