This is a good crime debut and the start of a new series.
So I am particularly interested to hear plans for the series going forward.
The first book is very much setting the scene for the main characters while delivering a tense gothic crime thriller for the readers to unravel.
An author I think we will all be hearing more about as the series develops.
However, if she asks your opinion on poetry it might be wise to leave…
