This is the second book in the series, I would say it was critical to start first with ‘Dragon Girl and the Awakened Flames’.
Emba is a great character and you will appreciate her all the more if you start at the beginning of the series.
The second book like the first is funny, full of adventure and a little danger to ensure you don’t want to put the book down once you have started.
