This book has sat in my to be read towers for a long time…
I always give an honest review so I will confess that I have had two false starts with this book – I just couldn’t settle into it.
Yesterday I decided to give it one last try and once I was about 50 pages in I absolutely loved it and devoured it in one sitting.
Loved the characters, loved the writing, the two timelines came together so well.
Quite funny in places, although also a serious read.
So why did I struggle with it – absolutely no idea.
I certainly recommend this very talented author!
