I have been desperate to get my hands on this third book since last year so when I finally secured it yesterday it was immediately read.
Another excellent read, well plotted, great pace, brilliant tension and loved the characters.
I suggest you read this series in order so start with: The Mind of a Murderer and then The Devil’s Code.
The crime in this latest book is standalone but there is so much valuable character background that I would strongly urge you to read in order.

I’ve also read and loved his Michael’s standalones and the first couple in the DCI Matilda Darke series – so if you are looking for a new crime author to try I certainly recommend his books.
