So this is a debut and before receiving this copy I had heard nothing about this book so I admit to starting this book with zero expectations, but worry not it is a great read!
In my opinion this would be perfect for Ambrose Parry fans.
The plotting and pace of the novel were great. The setting of the time and place was excellent. Loved the characters, Miray really seemed to capture their voice.
I will certainly be watching out for any future books from Miray, very happy to recommend on to readers!
