This is the 7th book in the Skelf series, Doug is a brilliant author and I am happy to recommend ALL his books to date.
With the Skelf series whilst each is entirely brilliant as a standalone I would suggest you start from Dark Matter book 1 then you can become simply addicted to the lives and cases of these undertakers and private investigators.
The characters are great, the storylines are topical, plotting and pacing simply superb.
Doug Johnstone’s books could just be the new addiction you are waiting for.
Absolutely recommended.
