This wasn’t on my radar before the Booker Longlist was announced but I have a lot of respect for this publisher so I absolutely had to acquire it.
It’s an interesting read, told in 5 acts, each act is only about 1 or 2 of the characters.
In part it can be funny but mostly a very serious read.
Brilliant writing so I will have to see what else Makenna may have written.
