Brilliant book cover!
Drawn to this book by the cover and the fact that it was a BBC Radio 2 book club choice.
This is a book full of scars, injustice and heart breaking moments, it will certainly find a place in your heart.
My only issue was that it was a little tricky to keep up with the family structure over the many generations.
A brilliant, although heartbreaking read. Lots of generations to follow but the family tree in the book helped me keep track.
