Thank you to Awais for sending me a review copy, I read this in December and it took me a little longer than expected to read as I was constantly shattered from working and preparing for family birthdays and Christmas…
But my verdict is that this is a good debut, I would certainly happily read anything he writes next.
There were times when I could put the book down and not feel the urgency to pick it back up, but this wasn’t the ideal time for me to be reading it… however, once I read the complete novel I had a lot more appreciation for the storyline.
I would happily recommend on to others, but I would urge them to try and read it in just a couple of sessions unlike me who I think spread it over many days.
