This novel is set in a unified Korea and I am delighted to report that it made me laugh and it gave me all the emotions.
Whilst I needed to read this slowly, it felt like a book to be sipped rather than devoured I was so addicted to the writing that I couldn’t help but return to it at every opportunity.
Luminous is a good debut set in the near future where robots are employed in many areas and are very much part of families.
Their lives are celebrated and grieved by their families.
Certainly a book that would cause debate within a book group when they discuss the integration of robots.
