We all heard about Bernardine when she won the booker prize a few years back and it has been brilliant to see her other books get a bigger audience too.
I’ve had manifesto in my to be read pile for a long time but I was urged to pick it up when she won the Women’s Prize life time achievement award last week.
Manifesto is an excellent read and a real look back over how things have changed in the UK for many people in the last few decades.
I hope it will inspire many others who read it to never give up following their dreams.
