Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy of Murder in the Cathedral by J M Dalgliesh.
J M Dalgliesh is a new author to me, but it appears he has written about 30 other crime thrillers previous to this one, many of which are set around the Norfolk and Yorkshire areas.
We start of very early in the book with a dead body, which is always good.
The tension and pace are excellent and I wasn’t best pleased with the interruptions I got when trying to read this.
Mystery behind the plot keeps you guessing about who and why until the very end.
Detective Inspector Jack McNaughton is a great character and we need more from him in this series.
Very happy to recommend to other crime thriller readers.
